“Overall, it’s a great option for business travellers rather than perhaps tourists with children. The location is ideal and makes it very easy to get around the city, especially the tourist attractions. The standout feature for us was the breakfast. There was a huge variety of options, including delicious traditional Ghanaian dishes such as jollof rice and fish stew, alongside all the classic breakfast items. “This hotel was very nice. The area was prime and there were really nice markets as well as restaurants in walking distance. Derek (our butler) as well as the other staff we came in contact with were great and very accommodating. They made sure we were safe and had someone with us when we walked or went to the night market. They even walked us to restaurants at night. Poolside and the lobby areas were very comfortable. My only gripes are that the street traffic/noise was really loud so take ear……

“there were a few issues with things not working in the room, like the phone, toaster, microwave. Then the toilet wasn't flushing. i had to be moved to another room. that was inconvenient and took time from my exploration time. my room key stopped working several times and i kept having to get it reactivated. that was very annoying. otherwise it's a nice place to stay and the staff were nice. i really appreciated having a nice apartment to myself.”

“The staff was courteous and professional. My room was cleaned daily by the very sweet Paulina who didn't hesitate in accommodating me.However,there was one incident I experience in the cafe on 2/13 around 3 pm. The young lady served me, took it unpon her self to keep my 30 cedis. It was an incident that you don't know- what just happen. I like The Roots and I would stat again. ”
