The room was clean and comfortable. James, the host, was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay other than the (late night) noise from the spa above us and when garbage truck decided to empty the dumpsters at 2:30 AM. We were in the building to the left of the main one pictured. It had a nice common area and kitchen. The bathroom and shower were very nice. I didn't see a thermostat to control your room temperature but we were confortable.

James was wonderful and accommodated our unexpected evening when the rains made our overnight to Nashville turn into Paducah. We were exhausted but love d the relaxing space, jetted tub and front porch. He even made a hearty breakfast to get us to our next stop.

Charming rooms, friendly staff. The first night I was in room 5 of the guest house. The bathtub did not gave a bath mat nor was there a mat/rug outside the tub. Both the tub and floors were slippery. No accidents occurred, but at age 76, this was a concern for me. Everything else was great.

I’m a young woman and traveled solo. The hotel staff took a few mins to let me in, but it was ok- he was friendly and helpful. Having the police station two doors down added a good safety factor in addition to keypad entries on the main door and bedroom doors was nice as well. My room was nice and comfortable and the decor was very authentic- I loved the stained glass! I drove 5 mins to the historic downtown for dinner. Nice quaint place. Very quiet.

Superb Stay!

Everything about our one night stay was exceptional! The staff was quite friendly and accessible, the Victorian home was extraordinary and well-kept, and the breakfast was the best I've had anywhere! I love a place with a lot of history, and this place has it, for sure. The whole experience was worth much more than the modest nightly room rate!! Bravo!!
