  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Hotel gave $5 discount each day to The Cafe who had excellent choices. The best Hot Springs resort! The layout w/ number of pools with different temperatures made it easy to find us all by ourselves. Beautiful setting on the river. The daily activities that guests could join were wonderful.

This was my first time at the Resort and Spa, being a Colorado native, it seemed like I should check it off my list. The setting is serine, very clean, many different pools to get in with a variety of temperatures. The San Juan River is so beautiful and I love the infinity effect on most of the pools. Gorgeous spot!

I knew I wanted to stay at this property as soon as I saw it and it did not disappoint! You are treated like royalty and the hot springs pools are so easily available! We loved that they had an adult only section as we were not traveling with children and wanted a quieter atmosphere. I was impressed that the bar stayed open so late for those enjoying the hot springs at night!

Great Hot Springs Resort!!

Stayed in a classic room due to traveling with a pet. Very basic and older. Light shines in from the outside window and doors easily. However, overall an amazing resort with 24hr access for the Springs!! It was amazing!! Will definitely be going back!!!

Check in was at 4 and we didn’t get a room until 5:30 so that was disappointing. Lots of kids around but it was nice having access to 18+ pools. The pools were great and service was excellent! Could use an upgrade on the beds in the Deluxe rooms. Worth the money of staying at the resort as you have 24 hour access to pools. Nights out there are amazing!

As lifelong residents of Colorado, this was our first time stopping in Pagosa Springs and our choice of The Springs Resort to stay will last as one of our best. We were so impressed with the new rooms and new spa area (even though we had no frame of reference). The 24 hour access to the pools was a godsend on our journey moving to Phoenix from Fort Collins. Certain things let us know that they are tweaking the new facilities, but the rooms were so comfortable and well-appointed and the staff could not have been more accommodating. This will become a "must stop" any time we travel the region in the future!

Excellent hot spring, convenient location and friendly staff. I stayed in classical room which is 2 star motel quality with old furnishings. Since my primary objective is hot spring, I am happy with the experience. In addition, hotel restaurant food quality is only average.
