Great B and B right in the midst of the historic district. Short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, monuments etc. The hostess was wonderful and welcoming. Room was stunning, clean and provided a kettle and coffee machine. Fridge had water for the guests as well. Good air conditioning and quite quiet at night. Reasonable cost for a good place in the city.

Mariella was excellent helping us access the room and answering our questions. Room is beautiful and well laid out with plenty of space and even a sauna for your private use! Breakfast is in a different location but only 2 mins walk and was good quality, as was the coffee. We were able to leave our bags while enjoyed the city until we left in the evening. All in all a great value option in central Palermo, off one of the main streets (Via Maqueda) and 5 mins from the Fontana Pretoria and piazza Cuarto Canti.

Mariella est une personne d'une gentillesse incroyable. Notre séjour à Palerme c'est bien passé et nous avons apprécié l'ensemble de ses petits conseils. Vous pouvez reserver les yeux fermés, le logement est sécurisé, propre et semble avoir été renové dernièrement. La présence de la.climatisation est un atout précieux.

We used Ballarooms twice : at the beginning of our trip for a few nights and at the end of our trip, before catching our flight. Both stays were absolutely outstanding. Mariella is a wonderful host, very caring and very attentive to her guests. And her breakfasts are exceptional !

Le lieu est exceptionnel, la localisation idéale (en plein coeur du Palerme historique, à 10 min à pieds de la gare), l'accueil à la fois chaleureux et extrêmement professionnel et - fait suffisamment rare pour ne pas le signaler - le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Rien à redire, ce sera à nouveau mon point de chute si je retourne à Palerme !

We stayed for 3 nights in the Olive Room. All was great and perfect. Room and bathroom were spotless and pleasant, newly and beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Mariella is a wonderful and generous host and her breakfasts were as great as she is. Can’t recommend enough her B&B.

La colazione migliore PER DISTACCO mai fatta in vita mia…ma questo non basta per spiegare il senso di accoglienza e di cura verso gli ospiti da parte della proprietaria. Grazie per averci fatto sentire l’anima di Palermo. Inutile dire che dovete venirci!!! Struttura nuova pulitissima accessoriata non manca nulla e la posizione è la migliore.

Mariella war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, sie hat uns mit selbst gemachtem Essen zum Frühstück verwöhnt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig aber leider im zweiten Hotel. Dies kann man gut zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt und entsprechen der Beschreibung. Einziges Manko war die Duschbrause die ziemlich verkalkt war. Die Lage ist wirklich mittendrin im geschehen aber dennoch abseits vom Lärm. Leider ist es für Taxis nicht immer möglich bis vor das Hotel zu fahren. Somit mussten wir zum nahegelegenen Lidl laufen um abgeholt zu werden. Der unebene Boden in der Straße macht es zu einer schweisstreibenden Angelegenheit. Es gibt auch keinen Lift, die Koffer müssen alle in das OG gebracht werden. Es wäre gut wenn wir die Codes für den Zugang einfach per Expedia zugeschickt bekommen hätten, dann wären wir nicht vor verschlossener Türe gestanden. Alles in allem sind die negativen Dinge Kleinigkeiten die nicht so schlimm waren wie sie sich anhören. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen.

I did not have time for breakfast. Mariella was a great host: receptionist was very welcoming. I enjoyed the quiet time before my flight. I did lose a boots I might contact Mariella to send money to send me the boat I lost if she has it: but great stay and location in Palermo

I want to start by saying that the hosts are absolutely some of the kindest people I have met in Palermo. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. It may have been my own oversight for not paying closer attention to the lack of an elevator and the type of accommodation this is. The rooms themselves were very clean, tastefully decorated, and offered excellent value for the price. However, our room was one of only a handful located within an older building that appeared to be a converted apartment rather than a traditional hotel. The location was convenient for exploring Palermo, but as a woman travelling with a young boy, I sometimes felt a little uncomfortable returning late at night due to the dark, narrow side streets in the immediate area. That said, this may simply have been because we were unfamiliar with the neighbourhood. Overall, if you are younger, travelling on a budget, and looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, I would definitely recommend it. The rooms are well maintained, the value is excellent, and the hosts are truly exceptional.
