“We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us. The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. The restaurants were picturesque right on the beach - we particularly liked breakfast with the fresh juices of the day and daily changed pastries. “Jungala is a very nice resort but it is too far away from everything. There are no amenities at the property itself and you have to either walk for a looooong time (15 mins plus) or take the shuttle to get to even basic stuff like coffee, food and drinks, not to mention restaurants, spa and beach/pool. The shuttle is only available upon call. Also, although the staff are very nice, they are not able to help with spa/ cabana / restaurant reservations or anything really. They kept telling me they……

“They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

It is an ideal distance from both cities and nestled just outside of Puerto Morelos, which is a hidden gem for people that love good food and a chill vibe. I strongly recommend Sota Human Space. The accommodations are the best I've ever stayed at.”

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! ”

“Our room was surprisingly cleaned. It was cleaned every day and I believe it was twice a day. The staff there were delightful everyone was happy, they evenremembered our names. We felt very good being there The hot tub water was very hot just like it should be they are bars everywhere I mean the staff at the bars also as well were very attentive and very much looking forward to pleasing all the guests.”
