Fabulous location

This is a wonderful location for a stay in Paris. Easy walking in the Marais, to Notre Dame, museums and the Pompidou Centre. There are two of the best bakeries, three excellent restaurants and a wine shop in the same block and you can get other provisions within 200m. It is a stylishly quirky and light filled apartment. The downsides. The entranceway to the apartment up 2 flights of stairs between two restaurants is unattractive, it can get hot in summer, and a couple of the appliances weren’t working.

Great location but a little noisy

This area has everything in walking distance. Even though the apartment is not on a main street it is very noisy. The apartment has quiet hours starting at 10:00 PM however it sits above a bar that closes at 2:00 AM. This is not ideal for guests with small children. Early in the morning around 6:00 AM there is lots of street trucks and businesses prepping to open. I would compare this to a busy street in New York. On average we got around 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Even though there is no AC the apartment stayed pretty cool with the windows open. I would recommend the washing machine and apartment go through a deep cleaning, and update the pictures as the layout and furniture have changed.
