I wish it was better but it was bad.

The host was very nice to greet us and letting us drop off the luggage earlier than check-in. He did help us when we locked ourselves out. One of the reasons we booked this listing is because it showed AC in the apartment. The listing also showed a swimming pool on the cover photo of the place which was in an email but not on the listing online. It could be the site's stock image, who knows but I have proof that it was there. When we arrived the upper level of the unit was very hot and it was scorching heat in Paris at that time with extreme heat warning. The AC unit was not on but the host showed us that it worked and we believed him. The AC unit would not cool the upstairs at all, it blew warm air. I told him the AC isn't working, he was slow to respond suggested we buy fans and he would reimburse us. It is their job to present a place the way it was advertised, not ours to go looking for fans. The AC was never fixed even after I told the host we'd be leaving the place after one night because it was impossible to be there in such heat, he did nothing. The downstairs had a loud AC which cooled the room, but the room smelled like must and mold which made it hard to even be there. My family also had a hard time sleeping. We bought a lavender air freshener to last one night to at least mask the smell. There were also a ripped duvet cover.We had to book a hotel which was an added expense to our trip. I asked the host for a reimbursement but he did not even respond to that
