“We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! ”

“This hotel appeared to have been fairly recently refurbished to a high standard although sound insulation between rooms could be improved. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. A la Carte hot breakfast options far exceeded our expectations and were served by attentive friendly staff. The manager, Amir, was very professional and responsive . Excellent value. “A B&B that I will definitely stay again whenever I visit St. Austell. Warm, cozy and great location (it only takes less than 5 mins walking distance from St. Austell station, 10 mins walk to town centre) it's like going home as owner was friendly and warm, deco was warm and lovely, and most of all, home cooked and wide choice of breakfast was magnificent. I believe it is the worthiest place to stay with all these and amazingly low pricing charged. Big thumb up and highly recommended.”

Pentewan harbour. A view across Pentewan harbour, which was connected to St Austell by the Pentewan railway. China clay and tin were exported from here and coal was imported. The harbour fell into disuse when the entrance passage silted up in 1916.
