“Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained.……

“Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance. Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy.”

We chose the Black Lion as we prefer to stay and eat in establishments that do not allow dogs and there aren't many now ( I know some people would disagree and want to take their dogs everywhere but we all need a place we can feel comfortable in and every other venue in town seems to accept dogs now so dog owners have plenty of……

“We enjoyed our recent mini get away for a birthday treat. This was our first visit to The Gwbert Hotel. Quick and easy check in as it was done online before arrival. Lovely room with a sea view, which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee was well stocked with an added coffee maker. There was a small fridge in the room with bottled water too. The bathroom was a good size with bath and separate walk in shower. The large mirror in there had a light which was great for applying make up! The……

“Excellent weekend break with really nice spa. Book spa ahead of stay but definitely worth the effort. Inexpensive drinks in bar with great views and really comfortable seating. Great cocktail menu. All in all faultless. Definitely recommend. ”

“We received a warm welcome from Cam. Our room was clean and our bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was pure delicious perfection. My wife had pulled a muscle in her back and stayed working in the lounge area. Cam made sure that my wife had a hot water bottle, to keep the injured muscle comforted, and pots of tea to keep her going. It is obvious that Cam goes the extra mile for all her guests.
