"We had a lovely stay at the Gum Tree hideaway. Communications were great from start to finish making everything stress free. The cabin was perfect, well presented and with super soft bed linen. The kitchenette was kitted out with all we needed and a highlight was a good BBQ. We travelled with our dog and he liked exploring the area around the cabin. It was very peaceful with the sound of Carnaby cockatoos over head. The perfect little get away. I would happily stay again. "

"Good position - but unfortunately where it starts and stops Rooms very dated Air Con does not change temperature in room - small space heater provided to warm cold rooms. On a positive - good bar and food downstairs, and walking distance to some solid options Passable - however much better options available"

"The hotel is in a good location, close to the city centre and Northbridge. Kings Park and Elizabeth Quay are quite walkable, particularly the latter. The rooms are spacious, clean, and mostly have basic amenities. We were a little unhappy that dental kits weren't available in the room, and we were asked to come down to the reception to get them, as opposed to being helped out by housekeeping. We also needed an extra chair as we were working from the hotel, but were informed that we would need to come down to the reception after hours to grab one from the lobby. For a hotel this size, I felt that our requests should have been more straightforward and the service was slightly disappointing. Overall, still a good place to stay."
