“We went looking for a long weekend at the beach and it didn't disappoint. The set up where the kids had a pull out couch bed, but it was actually two mattresses was a really nice set up and both the pull out bed and the main bed were extremely comfortable. The pool wasn't over crowded and the staff was lovely. The beach was stunning.”

“Staff for very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast has a lot of options but their warm food were often a bit cold. Outdoor pool were very nice. I like that there is an adult pool and kids pool the restaurants inside the hotel where a bit too expensive but the buffet dinner was also good with good value of money. The beach was very nice but mind you the sunbeds were very expensive.”

“Location was excellent, hotel was excellent, view was amazing, rooms were very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was great and there was a good selection of hot and cold food. Restaurant on site is excellent.”

“Alles super, bis auf das Frühstück. Keine Abwechslung, keine Diätprodukte, in der zweiten Woche noch nicht mal fettarmer Joghurt. Kein einziger fettarmer Käse. Trotz täglicher Nachfrage und Zusagen für den nächsten Tag, nichts geschehen. Omelettes nur mit Käse und Schinken und seeeehr langsam und wenig absprechend zubereitet. Das Personal kam mit dem Eindecken und Abräumen nicht nach. Die süßen Backwaren waren eine Mischung aus frischem und altem Gebäck. Glückssache, was man sich nahm. Sehr……

“The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!”

“Eine sehr große Hotelanlage mit fantastischem Blick auf das Meer. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht und waren im 4. Stock und haben es sehr genossen auf unserem Balkon zu sitzen. Unser Zimmer war klein, etwas eng mit gem Gepäck und den Koffern. Es war alles sauber, Bett war groß und bequem. Beim Frühstück war alles Wichtige vorhanden. Zum Meer ging es einige Treppen hinunter, dort war es traumhaft. Außerdem haben wir mit unserem Mietwagen immer am Hotel parken können.”

“Good stay, hotel is super clean and on the whole helpful staff. Breakfast room is so nice with the sea view. In this visit a problem with our shower cubicle which was only resolved by us moving rooms the following day & hopefully it will get fixed before anyone else gets allocated that room as it a hazard. Giving extra towels to mop up isn’t the answer. Given vouchers for a drink to compensate for the inconvenience but then was told by the bar tender only one could be used per transaction.……

“The apartment we stayed in was very clean but did not look at all like the photos. It was very dated and not at all what we expected for the price. The property was right at the entrance of the resort next to the security office!”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
