"Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the mould on the bed frame, to the broken shower, the stinking drains, to the abandoned cars, vans and lawnmowers all over the car park. Not to mention the closed down restaurant that now houses the scariest looking Cane Corso dog you are ever likely to see! Why on earth Hotels.com have this on their platform is beyond me. This place is ran by what looks like gangsters and does not feel safe in the slightest. If I had somewhere else I could have stayed I would not have gone within a mile of the is place! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"

"This amazing place has everything for a stay in a unique building in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The old rectory house is a lovely building with so much character. It is located in a quiet area and within walking distance to Arrow Valley country park which has some lovely walks, scenery and wildlife. Although the reception isn’t always staffed I had received clear instructions on access to the building, my room and an overview of the facilities. On arrival there was a member of staff present who was helpful, friendly and showed me the facilities. It was a quiet location at night with a comfortable bed and large room. There is plenty of cereal and fruit available for breakfast.I would recommend this venue for somewhere to stay which has a lot to offer for a reasonable price"

"Our hotel room was very hot, no ac or an additional fan was available. There was mould and rust in the bathroom, the curtains had holes in them, the tv didn’t work, the tap water was cloudy so we had to buy bottled water. The pool wasn’t very nice and with no shallow end it’s not kid friendly. The breakfast was lovely, staff were nice and helpful but for a 4 star hotel it seemed in real need of an update, small changes like additional fans, a fridge in the room, sorting out mould and buying new curtains would have made a huge difference. Plus we saw a guest leave his dog’s mess in the car park, doesn’t give the place a particularly 4 star feel."

"Well what a gem. Great place, everything you need is there. Except hairdryer, not a problem for me as mine dries fast. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Comfy bed, shower amazing, hot tub was awesome addition. Great night away and we will definitely be returning. Dont go to Lygon arms in feckenham ( village closest) food, service was not great at all. Redditch is close by and Hanbury hall"

"Stay clear! Don’t know when the photos were taken but it’s not like that now! We arrived at house and knocked door to get access to lodge… no answer! Just a faded note we couldn’t read and guttering falling around front door. Anyway thought we would go to lodge to see if we could find anyone only to find mouldy doors, cracked dirty render, rusty cars in parking area and piles of junk outside every door to lodges! Hence we left and booked a holiday inn which was good! I’ve asked for a refund only to be told I should’ve cancelled 24 hours in advance…. Obviously if I knew I wouldn’t have booked it in the first place! The pictures advertising this property are not a real reflection of the place… it is being missold and I would advise everyone to save there money! We didn’t make it in the room that’s how bad it was! I was embarrassed I took my partner there! I hope the owner reads this after denying my refund! 😁"
