“Owner was amazing. I had a delayed flight and they checked up on me and even gave me a ride from a nearby hotel as I was having a hard time getting Uber rides within Pinilla. Internet was strong and I was able to work remotely without issues during my meetings. The room is comfy and the property is just excellent. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family”

“The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating! Two of the staff members went above and beyond! The food was really good. The room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it. Seemed like the towels and bedding weren’t fresh, they smelled like someone used them. ”

“Yes, very clean they organized and cleaned our room multiple times a day. They could’ve had more restaurants open. Some music down at the pool would’ve been nice. Apparently we went during their lowest season and it was only about 5 to 10% occupied so it was pretty quiet. There was a minor construction that disrupted our afternoon one day with some very loud pressure washers. It’d be nice if they had a club with music and dance floor . but they did upgrade us when we got there to a better room……

From the beautiful, well-appointed and thought out rooms and property, to the great restaurant, beautiful pool, and, most importantly, the owners and staff that truly made us feel like family and looked out for our every need. This is not a soulless, corporate hotel chain, but an intimate and homey getaway situated on a gorgeous property and nature all around (seeing the howler monkeys was such a treat!). “I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. Pura vida!!”

“This was a perfect find. If you’re looking for peace & quiet this is the place. There are 8 treehouse like huts that offer privacy & are spaced out. If you love nature and seek privacy & to be away from the crowds then look no further! It’s close enough to town, so when you do venture out, you wont need to drive far. I recommend exploring the area & beyond. To do so without a worry you will need a 4x4. The owners are very nice & are happy to accommodate in any way. We will definitely be……
