We came to surf Avellanas and walking wasn’t bad. If you are planning to do anything other than surf I would grab a rental car. 「This is a great place in the forest about 25 minutes to some popular beaches. We loved exploring the area. The cabin was super clean and comfortable and the deck area is beautiful to have coffee while listening to the howley monkeys. The pool area is nicely set up for photo opps. The cherry on top is that they're pet friendly. We will stay again. 」

The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and as a solo traveler, this made me feel safe. My room was right outside the pool and I loved having the flexibility to sit at the pool or the beach which is only a few steps away!
