Selection of restaurants is great! The elevator in our building #1 didn’t work 98% of the time so walking to the third floor wasn’t fun multiple times a day. ”

I had the all inclusive option which made things very easy especially since there really isn't any other options nearby as far as restaurants so all inclusinve makes sense. “The hotel is nice, but I wouldn’t visit again. The bungalows are dated and the water below is murky and filled with seaweed. We couldn’t use the beach, because of the seaweed. They were working hard to try and remove it, but it didn’t work. The food is delicious, but the menu doesn’t change much, so after 3 days, we were bored with the food options. There were ants in our room, so we called the front desk and they sent someone to spray the room. The fumes caused me to itch all over, so that……

“They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“This was a very calm, relaxing resort. If you want a calm vacation, this is your spot. This is family friendly resort so if you’re looking for late nights, this is not the place. Bars close at 11pm and everything else seemed to close earlier than that. Located right on the beach, which was fantastic! There is seed weed so be prepared for that. They do try to keep it cleaned however it’s not always. Check in and out was pretty quick and easy and the entire staff was super helpful and……

“Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! ”
