「We had a great visit at the Riu Palace. We traveled with friends and took advantage of the free transportation to and from the airport. The hotel is just as beautiful as when we were there 18 months ago. Even though the beach was full of sargassum the pools had enough seating for everyone. Food was fantastic although I missed being able to have pastor tacos every day. Service is great and the piano player in the lobby is a special touch. Rooms are well appointed. 「Palmaia was such a peaceful paradise! We went in mid June and it was pretty quiet so we felt like we had so much space to ourselves. Our nomadic guide Karen was helpful with all of our questions and checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything. We really appreciated her! Edgar gave us a tour when we first arrived and helped us get to the store at Sandos when we needed to get electrolytes (I got dehydrated the first day!) 「Amazing stay! The whole property was stunning. It feels like walking through a tropical rain forest everyday. The beach area has lots of palm trees to cool in the hot sun. Our room was on the ground level close to the pool but we were not disturbed by the it at all and as well the night entertainment was muted out by the thick walls and patio doors.
