「We stayed for three nights in a family room for three. The room is specious and clean. We have a dog with us and Kings Arms is 100% dog friendly. We stayed in a room quite close to some cooling system which was required to keep turned on to keep the beer cold (I think) but it produced a constant mechanically nose which became very noticeable in the evening. I asked for a change of room but unfortunately there was not a double room available. As a compromise the owner arranged to turn off the...

「The room was very clean, hosts were lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Only downside to the stay was I like the window open at night and the church chimes on the half hour and on the hour, but ear buds are provided👍 we had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again…」

「Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy. Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned 」

Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.」
