The buffets were great, rooms were large and clean. The resort was clean with plenty of activities to do for the whole family. The adults only section was amazing we will be back. The hotel and staff were amazing our entire experience was great except for our tub on our sky terrace did not work, we had called twice throughout our stay, and it wasn’t fix ;( when we voiced our concerns we were told there was no record of the calls;( Everything else was great all the restaurant and bar staff were amazing! They are friendly and work so hard, and pay attention it every detail. Top notch service! Anything you asked for they delivered .

Pros: Amazing food best I’ve had in a Mexican resort Service Hospitality Staff Cons: Price zero stars, every on resort is ridiculously expensive for what you are buying Taxi’s from resorts is insane, $47 CAD to Playa Del Carmen 1 way! From resort to airport $170 CAD! Room Shower door not closing Blankets way too think and sheet too thin so either woke up in a pool of sweat or freezing not ideal Pillows one of the most uncomfortable pillows have ever slept on Resort credit can only be used before arrival and was not explained to use by our pre trip booking agent to help with these credits, hard to predict everything you want to do before you get there. No suggestions or follow up from the agent Live music was not great, very poor night time entertainment Entertainment not great compared Bahia Principe for example that was way better for entertainment.

The beach was amazing, the property is gigantic with a ton of restaurants and bars. It is the absolute best treat for adults. Even the kids section was very nice and friendly. Totally sure we will return to Hard Rock Cancun Resort

We recently stayed at the adults-only Heaven section at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and overall, the resort itself was good. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is fun, and the adults-only vibe made for a relaxing getaway. The room amenities were very nice, modern, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean and refreshed during our stay. However, we were very disappointed with a major issue during our trip. We lost power from 2:00 AM until 5:30 PM for two out of the three days we were there. This significantly impacted our experience. With no electricity, we were limited on drinks, couldn’t properly use our room, had cold showers, no lights, and even had to get ready using a flashlight. To make matters worse, many of the restaurants were also closed due to the power outage, which greatly limited dining options during our stay. It was frustrating to lose so much usable time during such a short trip, especially when we were looking forward to enjoying everything the resort offers. While the resort overall has a lot of potential and the accommodations themselves were comfortable and clean, the extended power outages and resulting closures greatly affected our experience and overall enjoyment. We hope this was an isolated situation, as the property itself has the foundation for a truly great vacation.

Resort was sold as adults only but only small portion was adults only. Most of the restaurants and pools were families with kids. I have kids so I am fine with that but don’t advertise as an adults only resort .

The room, the room ruined. My first day of my vacation had to change rooms. There was no hot water and they put me in the back of the property facing air condition. Ducks had to wait for the following day in order for them to change my room had to repack and unpack my luggage.

Clean rooms, well kept grounds, good vibes all around. Amazing staff!! The ONLY draw back is how loud the halls are at night. They are open air halls, so no carpet or anything to dampen sounds. Cleaning crews come thru during the night and it echoes thru the halls really bad. Same with guests at all hours talking loudly and it seriously makes it like an echo chamber in your room. Didn’t sleep more than a few hours at a time any of the 5 nights we were there. Everything else was amazing!!
