「Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful decor. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a last minute booking and we were welcomed with open arms by the staff. Lots of great advice about the surroundings… lovely breakfast. Large, comfy rooms, great shower, just all wonderful really.」

To our surprise the room was not cleaned during the day and towels not refreshed. Also coffee, tea, water etc was not replenished. Breakfast in the local pub across the square was not good. No fresh fruit for instance and the used ingredients were not the best.」

「Wi-Fi provide but cannot access, very week. No hair drier provided even though ask for borrow. B&B but breakfast not included.」

「Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in...

「The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.」
