“While the room was clean, but the door didn’t seal tight. You could see the light from the hallway all around the door. the floors near and in the elevator were really dirty. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was adequate. They had scrambled eggs, sausage,Waffles, and bread items etc… For one night, it was ok. In my opinion, The Newport area seemed a little sketchy.”

“Ac worked but only the temperature selection the speed was preset to the highest and wouldn't change. The room was so humid that with the ac blasting it felt like a rainy winter or fall day in the room. The hair dryer wouldn't turn off and was never than the air flow on the AC When I tried to check out there was no one at the desk and no one showed up when you rang the bell.”

“Extremely clean inside and out. The room smelled fresh and clean and there was a sound machine playing relaxing jungle birds. The grounds were immaculately landscaped. The breakfast was fantastic.”

“We were not greeted with a friendly way. We were treated like a nuisance. Our room was worn down. The box spring covers had rips. There were scratches all over the walls. The bedside outlets did not work; neither did the phone or clock. There was garbage under the bed. There was no patio furniture on the balcony. The breakfast the next morning was very disappointing. The eggs were rubbery, the sausage was hard, and the potatoes were mediocre. We have stayed at Country Inn and Suites many times……

“Breakfast: 5 stars. They have a good breakfast bar. Breakfast is from 6:30 am - 10 am but after 9:15 they stop refilling the breakfast bar. Not much to choose from if you come late. Cleanliness: 2 stars. We stayed in a non-smoking room but the lingering odor of lit cigarette was present and too strong for us to handle.”

“It was a decent stay, the thing that was bothersome was at night you really notice how loud the ac unit is plus you can hear the one above your window too. Its off the main strip but convenient to everything. We would probably stay again.”

“Our room was clean when we arrived and cleaned daily during our stay. The beds were very comfortable . The only improvement could have been a brighter light over the sink. I would totally recommend staying here.”

“Nice place. Spacious rooms, and beautiful river walk behind. A little dingy here and there, but no real deal breakers. Staff was amazing & very helpful. Be sure to try the food at the restaurant next door. Excellent apps and burgers.”
