Breathing views

Amazing residence! We had the room with the main balcony. The view day and night, sun or rain is breathtaking. We also visited their restaurant for a dinner and the food was high quality and tasty :) with a quality of a decent restaurant

This place is an Absolute Gem if you want to feel that “Under the Tuscany Sun” Vibe. Every corner there is a Photo opportunity, and still pictures cannot capture the Amazing Ambience of this Villa. It is not modern and modernized, but if you are looking for an old castle stay, this Villa is your Gem!

Viagem mãe e filha!

Uma Villa histórica transformada em hotel, quarto confortável (uma ressalva a banheira que não tem box de vidro e molha tudo), café da manhã e um ótimo jantar no restaurante! A piscina não tem muito espaço para espreguiçadeiras na volta e falta um bar! O prédio da Villa é maravilhoso e está bem cuidado e decorado!

The outside of the villa is really beautiful with outstanding views. Swimming pool need some attention and was not that clean. Service could be better for a 4 star hotel as well. Dinner was good. The hotel has a lot of potential due the villa itself and the location but really needs an upgrade to stay on a 4 star level.

Spectacular location in Tuscany

We had stayed at Villa Pittiana before, many years ago, and wanted to return to this beautiful part of Italy and what we remembered as a lovely hotel. We were allocated to the 'Tower Suite' which was a nice spacious room with a great view over the valley at the side of the hotel, a bit spartan, but at the top of a steep flight of about 20 stairs, which was a bit daunting. It should have done with more than one comfortable chair in a 'suite' where there was plenty of space. We enjoyed a nice dinner but the service was a bit slow and at breakfast tables were left uncleared, so we had to lay our own table! The staff seemed to have their minds on other matters and the boiled eggs ran out. When we stayed some years ago, dining was available on the lawn outside the dining room but that was no longer available, which was disappointing. We got the impression that the hotel had been allowed to get a bit run down and shabby. The gardens were unkempt which is a pity in such a beautiful place. There was a nice pool but we did not have time to try it.

Spettacolare Residenza d'epoca vicino Firenze

Villa Pitiana, con la sua maestosa struttura comprendente un giardino (con piscina) e un parco immenso, è una Residenza d'epoca che svetta in posizione panoramica su un posto unico e inimitabile, immerso nelle campagne toscane, tra cultura e storia, dove il tempo sembra fermarsi. Certo, per godere appieno della qualità della struttura è preferibile soggiornare nelle stanze con vista sulla piscina e sulle colline toscane, ma anche le camere con vista sul cortile interno o sul parco sono comode e pulite. Essendo una residenza d'epoca ha mobilio e strutture dal gusto antico, ma gli scricchiolii del legno sono certamente compensati dall'atmosfera magica del complesso storico. Ottimo servizio alla reception, con un personale molto disponibile e accogliente! Buona prima colazione e servizi in camera, ristorante con portate molto eleganti e raffinate. Il servizio bar (con ottima selezione di vini e birre artigianali) funziona praticamente h24 e hanno anche Sky per vedere le partite nei fine settimana. Relax assicurato, consigliato anche alle famiglie. Unico consiglio: essendo immerso nel verde, è consigliabile portare con sé repellenti anti-zanzare e fare leggermente attenzione alle api che si aggirano intorno alla piscina (sono attratte dai fiori e dall'acqua, non dagli ospiti, quindi si può comunque stare tranquilli!)

Questa villa ha un fascino che solo le dimore storiche sanno dare. Le camere quadruple sono veramente spaziose e adatte per chi ha figli adolescenti. Il personale è preparato ed efficiente.

Faded beauty but warm welcome

Wonderful friendly helpful staff but nowhere near enough of them. Would love to see this incredible grand house brought back to glory. It needs a little love. 1st few days frustrated by rarity of a barman broken air conditioner and kids camp beds. But the staff did everything they could for us always with enthusiasm. By day 10 we didn't want to leave. It's peaceful the grounds are stunning and there's plenty of beautiful quiet corners to take a book

Quiet Holiday in the countryside

The room was quite spacious for a family of four. We particularly enjoyed the high ceiling. It was well kept and clean. The shower was somewhat cramped though. We had fun playing table tennis on the grounds and enjoying the seasonal pool. Breakfast was enjoyable as it offered a lot of variety.
