Perfect location in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. Staff was great. The room was even ready early when I arrived from a morning flight. Only issue is they don't have a lot of storage room for bags if your room isn't ready or you're staying in the area after you check out.

This was my first trip to Reykjavik and wanted to be close in on everything. So, I really want to say how good the location is for convenience. In addition, I was looking for a hotel with certain amenities like a cafe and balcony. The employees were very friendly. Hotel Von delivered beyond everything I had hoped for at a very good price. Recommend!

Hotel Von is very convenient for being in the middle of downtown Reykjavik, but that also comes with needing less room, and settling for a clearly older room/furniture and perhaps a little less care. The check in took 20 mins, as the computer seemed to be challenging, and the room is very small and shows its' wear and tear. The sink also drained slowly. We only stayed one night, but had a better stay a little bit outside downtown core (7 min walk) for the first few nights of our trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Von. The room was modern and clean, and we appreciated so much getting early check-in and storage of our luggage prior to the regularly scheduled check-in time. The front desk attendant was incredibly sweet and helpful. The bar staff in the morning were also pretty awesome! Would definitely book again!

Overall Hotel Von was a decent place to stay for the price. The location is prime downtown Reykjavik which was very nice to walk around from. There is no hotel parking so you will have to find street parking. We got a street facing room which was very noisy and difficult to sleep because of the people walking down the street. Staff we're friendly and room was decent but small

Staff upgraded me to a better room without me even asking. The room had all the amenities I needed. The building was in the middle of the shopping district and yet it was very quiet. The staff were very helpful. The room was always clean whenever I arrived back from my excursions. Highly recommend this conveniently located hotel in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. I didn't get a chance to eat at their new restaurant Bon, but it always smelled amazing when I walked through the lobby!

This location cannot be beat. We were able to walk to see anything we wanted in Reykjavík. Our flight got in very early, and we were grateful the front desk allowed us to check in early free of charge so we could relax after such a long trip from Phoenix. The room is extremely simple, but comfortable and does the job. We would definitely stay here again.
