Myrtle Beach Ripley's Aquarium Hotels

"Ive had a lot of bad experiences before and never left a review on anything until now. Stayed here two times before and it was great. The last time was horrible. I was locked out of the room multiple times. The door ended up dying twice on two different nights. It ended up being 6 total trips back to the lobby. The room was horrible. Dirty floors, the fridge/freezer kept freezing everything. One electrical outlet not even close to the bed that was available to plug stuff into. Random people beating on the door all through the night. On checkout day I asked about some type of refund and was told “we’re sorry, we will email you” it’s been 5 days and haven’t received anything. All around, it was HORRIBLE. I do not recommend staying here to anyone. "

"The hotel is well located, close to the boardwalk for restaurants and other activities. The room was newly renovated & extremely clean. All of the hotel staff were friendly & helpful! Our view of the ocean was beautiful! "

"I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some positives, a few key issues really impacted our overall experience. First, housekeeping needs significant improvement. Daily room cleaning should be a basic standard, but it was inconsistent during our stay. This made the room feel less comfortable and well-maintained than expected.blankets were so dirty and stained Second, the oceanfront rooms—while offering a beautiful view—have balconies that are surprisingly small. For a feature that’s often highlighted as a major selling point, the limited space made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The most frustrating issue, however, was the lack of available bell desk carts. Each time we needed one for loading or unloading luggage, none were available. Our room was on the 10th floor, and we ended up making 4–5 trips ourselves, which was extremely inconvenient and exhausting. Overall, the hotel has potential, but these operational shortcomings need to be addressed to provide a more comfortable and guest-friendly experience. "

"Major construction next to hotel for storm water management with construction pier extending into ocean. Room was clean but dated. Hallways appeared dirty as well as common areas. Only went to one of the pools but there was at least three bucketfuls of sand on the bottom. "
