It smelled so bad and perfume and scented cleaners. Walked into the unit. Dirty all over the inside of the front door. It’s literally a room with a bed. There is NO bathroom door. "I love this hotel, I had an ocean view room on the top floor, the only problem is the seals were broken in two of the three windows, so condensation between the window panes obscured the view. It overlooks the parking lot and back end of Nick's, but I didn't find that too terrible, and the view was still amazing. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. I must note that I slipped in the new shower, it is very, very slick, I was bracing hands on the wall to step out, and boom. There are no grab bars, and I ended up at Urgent Care in Daly City, but fortunately just a sore nose, a sprained right wrist, sprained left thumb, sprained neck and lower back, nothing a wrist brace and a little ibuprofen couldn't handle, it did not interfere with my trip because I would not let it, but someone else may have sued them. They do need to install at least one grab bar in the shower or offer a bath mat that is not gross like at so many other hotels. I put a face towel on the shower floor, and then it was fine. Just be careful. Parking is easy, but tight striping, so watch your doors, but I had a nice visit there overall. You can walk to the restaurants, and it is close to SFO, Half Moon Bay, everywhere I wanted to go was an easy drive."

"We stayed on the first floor at the waterfront. It was nice to hear the waves outside while we slept. There is a pathway beside the hotel, so some foot traffic kept us from opening the drapes for the view. I gave 3 stars for cleanliness only because the carpet didn't feel clean underfoot. A different type of flooring would be better by the ocean. This was a quick one night stop for us as we were traveling down the PCH. The beds were comfortable, I would stay again."
