"This was our first time in North Carolina and it won’t be our last. The house, the view was amazing. Gorgeous sunrises and distance to the beach was perfect. Hot tub was my favorite. Can’t wait to come back. Looking forward to our next adventure at the beach. PS…..we could not believe we were only Few houses from the Inn at Rodanthe, we thought we were movie stars. "

"Our family enjoyed a great week full of memories at this welcoming home. It was just right for our family of 7 adults and 5 children 6mo-10y. Beautiful oceanfront with great space for gathering in open top floor. Well stocked kitchen included everything we needed for the week. Plenty of games and puzzles, sand toys and a space under the home where the kids can play in sand if you have a rainy day . The 3 outside showers were used daily and very convenient. The beach was beautiful and not at all crowded. We will be returning to Sara’s next year!"

"This property worked out well for our annual family vacation. They could work on their introductory services, there was no real welcome instructions I had to search for the remote to the pulley system to move in when I texted the number from the management company no one responded till the next day. They need to look in closets when they clean the property there was what looked like puke on the carpet in one of the bed room closets. They offered to have professional carpet cleaning but I feel like it should be done before I move in. There was a broken chair in the kitchen area I sent them a pic of it the first day… There was a good amount of space for everyone and the pool was great we used it pretty much every day. There was no good beach equipment they had some old rusty broken chairs which should be removed we had to purchase chairs from the dollar general. The hot tub was also a nice feature but we only used it one evening. The washer and dryer were brand new and definitely a plus. It was convenient to the beach and store/gas station across the street was good too. The big table in the kitchen was a good gathering place and the pool table and the classic video game was great for family fun also! Overall the property was very nice but the amount of money we spent having to wait till 6pm to check in and check out at 10 am you definitely lose a whole day in the vacation time."

"Great location and for driving up or down the OBX. Within close walking distance is basic grocery items, two food trucks and cafe inside the gas station/grocery. You can drive a 2.0 mile stretch to find other locations to eat, shop, grocery, arcade-golf, & rent water vehicles.Log fires on the beach are allowed w/free permit gotten down the street.House is as described but also included 1 beach umbrella & lots of board type games we did not expect to get. The included water items from their partnering outside agency were of great use! Well needed items; beach umbrellas and the sand anchors to hold them down, bogie boards and THE CART!3 negatives were not huge. I am an Airbnb owner, so maybe a little more expectant:- There was no "starter kit" of basics. Meaning that after the visible items were used there were no extra items: toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, I think we had one kitchen dish scrubber but no dish soap. I am used to suppling some extras, & I am used to getting some extras we I rent. Not even 3.00 salt and pepper shakers.- Pans were not great and just shoved in the corner cabinet with the lids scattered. Even back to where you cannot reach them.- Grill dirty with no protection cover. We did not use it.I did get reimbursed for the price to exchange a gas tank. Both tanks were empty and needed for a boil.Overall, I would go back. You will enjoy it, I would recommend this unit for its location, comfort, communication & as advertised!....."

"The house was very clean and in very good condition. Access to the beach was close and easy to access. There were very few people on the beach, which was a nice aspect.Concerning towels, one bath towel and only one wash cloth was provided for each person. The quantity of wash cloths was insufficient so we bought some to last the week. Also, the bed pillows were small and flat. Two people in our group bought new pillows to use instead of the house suppliedpillows. The owner/host could improve on these items."

"Our stay was great. The house is very rustic like you step back in time to the days of the Pirates. Short walk to the beach. The house is in need of some TLC such as the decks , outdoor shower, grill. These were all in need of replacement. Other than that the house was huge inside with multiple floors and an old Observatory at the very top. You can see for days up there. The outside area could use some cleaning up and a warning to the visitors that they will be driving thru some loose sand to get to the house. I had to use 4 wheel drive to get to the house but had a friend show up in a front wheel drive car and made it just fine. Unfortunately for us the weather wasn't that great 5/9-5/16 the high for the week was 70. You will enjoy this place. Watch the movie Nights in Rodanthe and you will lots of things in the house that are in the movie such as the old organ. The movie is there and a dvd player. If someone asked me if I would go again that's a Yes for sure answer. The cool part of the trip was we had high winds several days and you feel the house sway a bit. Not 100% sure but I think the house was haunted. Some weird things too place. You have to experience on your own to understand."
