“The room was okay but did not feel like a premium room. It felt a bit tired with a few trip hazzards i.e. lamp cable plus chipped tile in bathroom needs attention. No separate shower or non slip mat. It was difficult getting in and out of the bath. Room was not made up during our stay. However Chloe was very helpful.”

“The hotel was perhaps not the best choice for 80 year olds with some issues as the entrance to it is rather steep ! However, since we were meeting relatives of varying ages there, and the taxi service in Jersey is excellent, this problem didn’t detract from our enjoyment.. “This place was head and shoulders above the Premier Inns in the UK. I use the chain for work fairly frequently and for pleasure occasionally so I have a good idea what to expect, most are OK, a few are better and a few are poor. This one in St Helier however was exceptional. The price was very reasonable. It was very clean and airy, the young staff were exceptionally helpful and very nice. The breakfast was well cooked. “The staff were friendly and helpful. I feel the Hotel was a little dated in places. Be aware if you stay in Room 90, there is a lift to the first floor, but to get to your room you have to walk down a flight of stairs. Breakfast was nice, self service Nice that towels are changed daily. The Hotel is at least a 20 minute walk into the town centre. The Fire Station is right opposite the Hotel. Very good bus service from the bus station. Did a day city tour with Bay tours. 6 hour tour……

“Nice traditional hotel. Lovely staff. Decor would benefit from an update. Fixtures , fittings and furnishings need a refresh. Didn’t like having 2 single duvets on a double bed. Breakfast is good- cooked to order - the same offerings every day. Pool quiet and pleasant but lacks changing facilities. ”

“Room was dated, but very tidy and clean, pool facilities were okay, but in need of refurbishment. The sauna was out of order and the mini gym lacked a treadmill. We stayed in a family room, it could have done with more towel rails in the bathroom and a drying rack for when the weather is less agreeable. Otherwise, the staff were amazing and made our stay memorable and fantastic. The plentiful parking was a massive bonus, as was the included breakfast.”

“Absolutely brilliant stay at SACO apartments and it won’t be the last. The apartment was perfect for what we needed as a base to visit my sister and her family for a family party. Everything was provided and the location was absolutely spot on! Just walking distance to the harbour and the shops and public transport to the rest of the island. “One of the most peaceful and quietest hotels I have stayed in. Very friendly staff from reception to the waiting staff. All professional and extremely courteous. Breakfast was that expected at a top restaurant ! We will return to this hotel for sure. ”

“Neat, tidy and spacious rooms with free full breakfast provided. In view that there is no air-conditioning in the room and guests must open the windows to get fresh air, the only drawback is that the windows are not fitted with mosquito screens.”
