“We found cockroaches in our room ”

“Breakfest area sticky everywhere, tables, counters, floor. Room airconditioner so loud you can not slip, like some plastic bag get caught and was resonating. Toiled flush tank was not filling with water, we had to use bucket.”

“The hotel is well situated right off I40. The breakfast is ok. Needs to have more of a variety and freshness. Like fresh eggs and fruit! Too many carbs for my taste. The elevator broke on the last day. Felt bad for housekeeping and the handicapped. Had an incident with front desk clerk that told us to keep our two year old grandson quiet because she could not concentrate. He was excited to see us but was not misbehaving. He’s only a baby!!!! She had the nerve to say that to us, but yet……

“The staff was so kind and the room was very clean and orderly. We also loved the breakfast! However, upon arrival, the front desk staff gave us very clear rules about not smoking on the property (which we don’t smoke, so we were fine with) However, when we got to our room, it clearly smelled of cigarette smoke. We did not book a smoking room. We had two small kids and we got in extremely late. They were already asleep in the room so we didn’t request to change rooms. But the smoke smell was……

“They take $100 out of your bank account and hold it until after you check out. We stay in a lot of hotels, and haven’t had this issue with other hotels. ”

“Overall, it wasn't the worst stay but the place needs some maintenance. The rooms could use a good deep clean as well. Maintenance wise, loose electrical sockets, trim around floor falling off, fan in bathroom didn't work. The cups for the coffee weren't wrapped, just Styrofoam cups. The service was good and was a chill place overall. ”

“Everything’s was wonderful about our trip. The property was so welcoming and pleasant to work with. Our room was amazing, especially how they made the bed and place candy on it. The room was wonderfully clean. Breakfast was great and the service was awesome. The snacks and the drink in the kitchen was the best idea a bed and breakfast could offer. We met and chatted with a lot of the guests over snacks. The only thing that was off about our trip was the hot tub. It just wasn’t hot enough. We……

“This was a beautiful property and located pretty close to a beautiful river that we spent alot of our time in. The porches were very accomodating and the kitchen space was spectacular. Overall one of our best stays. The property management was also very accomodating for such a last minute set-up. My only con: The upstairs was pretty hot. There are some window units and it was pretty hot outside and we did not compain during our stay. I'm sure their are ways the property management can fix this……
