The basics are MIA - examples include our room not being made up at all on two occasions, having no towels for the pool available on four of the seven days we stayed (our longest wait was close to an hour), being told we could have an extended check out but then told no when we came back to pay. “Spacious and extremely clean room but there is no enclosed shower or bathtub that makes the toilet floor all wet every time after shower. Overall nice and friendly hotel staff with good and immediate service. Food from the hotel is good especially salad, seafood and the fruit smoothies!”

“If you’re looking for an authentic Samoan experience in an idyllic location, Vaimoana delivers. We stayed one night in an open beach fale and one night in a regular room. The fales share restroom and shower facilities, which is typical, and they were perfectly fine. The regular room had its own facilities.
