"Small but mighty is this beach cottage. Located two blocks from the beach in one of my favorite San Diego neighborhoods. Ira was a great host - speedy responses when we needed anything. Bed was comfy as well as the pullout couch! Would definitely stay again."

"Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation."

"My husband took our 2 teen daughters to Lynn’s place this past week for 4 nights. It was spectacular! The views are incredible, and the sunsets were unbelievable. We sat several nights on the deck and just watched all the people walking and enjoying the coastline with their adorable dogs! The cottage is fully stocked and adorably decorated. The beds are SO comfortable! We will definitely be back, Encinitas is the coolest spot and a great place to see and visit the San Diego area! Thank you Lynn!"

"We knew we wanted to stay in OB to hang at Dog Beach, and I chose this place because of the proximity to the beach (maybe a 4 minute walk), and the dog washing station! This property has street parking and isn’t so bad if you time it right (wait for people to go to work and you’ll get a close spot). The property is set back from the street and quiet. "Relaxing around the firepit and taking in the SD air! Everything is walking distance. We enjoyed the Water Bar the most which faces the pacific but if you want ocean view make a reservation very romantic watching the sunset."

"My husband and I were in town for a special birthday party and we stayed at this wonderful new house. The house was immaculate, and Colette was very accommodating for early arrival. We really appreciated the Quality linens, towels, and special touches throughout the house. Super proximity to the town of Delmar and the ocean. Everything was walkable.. "We've been staying at this property almost every year for a number of years now. We still love it. It's not super fancy but has everything we need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing week at the beach. It's perfect for us! Great views to watch the dolphins and the sunset, just off the boardwalk to avoid the extra noise, and easy to go back and forth between the beach and meal times or potty breaks. We'd buy it if it ever went up for sale, it's that enjoyable!"

"Took my 10 year old granddaughter to my favorite place…Coronado. Ironically got the exact same bungalow I had 2 years ago. It was perfect. Always stocked with all you need, they have added beach wagons, chairs, sand toys and more! It was so nice to be able to use the wagon…little legs are always worn out on the way home from the beach. We shared many deep conversations at the outdoor seating. It was a perfect trip. I will always look for these properties in the future."
