「Great location within walking distance to coffee shops, donuts, restaurants and the waterfront. We also were able to walk to Eppig Brewing. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well, and we appreciated the standing fan that we used to move the air. The backyard patio was a great place to have coffee in the morning. Jane was very easy to work with. We would stay here again.」

「Clean, well appointed, and a great location for what I enjoy (I spent several hours watching all the colorful sail boats and kite surfers in the bay). An actual walker’s paradise, that felt very safe and secure to me. It was a great choice for a relaxing, laid back, restful week in San Diego. Lots of local restaurants and markets to pack and take meals/snacks to the beaches or wherever the day may take you. 」

「Perfect beach getaway with our Labrador retriever. The Grotto had everything we needed and Jason the host was very welcoming and responsive. It was close to all kinds of restaurants and within a short drive of dog beach in Del Mar. The weather was exactly what we were looking for, an escape from the Arizona heat. It’s tucked away in a lovely neighborhood, and at night it’s so peaceful you can even hear the crickets. John has truly thought of every detail, from the super-soft anchor-patterned sheets and complimentary slippers to the thoughtful welcome basket with wine, snacks, and even fresh lemons from their tree!
