Lovely place to stay in San Francisco if you want to meet new people while having a more realistic feel for living in the city (vs. hotel living). Space is quiet and roomy with a lot of different people coming into the hostel. Plus there's activities to do daily and great recommendations of things to try hung up on the walls in the common room.

Has just what you need, with a lobby where you'll meet up and hang out with people. It's in Chinatown, so there's a variety of eateries to choose from within just a few minutes walking distance. It's a group hostel but you can feel pretty safe keeping your belongings here.

Great little hostel near the financial district. This was my first time staying in a hostel, and the staff took extra care to make sure I knew how things worked. Space is plentiful including a full kitchen for shared use. Would stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay of 4 nights, the place has a great location i felt safe all the time even though stayed a mix room everyone was very friendly and respectful. I felt very comfortable the place is very cozy. Asad is the BEST he is very patient and helpful, Jesse is nice too, the blonde girl who works in the morning wasn’t nice. The only things i didn’t like were that some of the shower heads and sink handles weren’t working well, but overall i loved my stay.

Room - clean, quiet, and I got sound sleep Service - ITH was wonderful in waiting for me to check in after a long travel day on the plane, provide me a tour and pour me water when I got there. ITH has also been kind to lend me a lock for storage under my bed. I also forgot my suit when I left in the early morning in the dark and they were the ones who messaged me about it and willingly to keep it safe for me until my next return. I'm looking forward to my next stay here and longer. Location - super convenient to all the places in downtown where I had events at all between 3-7 min walk. Just don't miss it - it's definitely a hidden gem.
