“It’s in a fantastic location and was easy to get everywhere from there. Chinatown was basically just outside our door and Union Square a 5 minute walk. We walked to pier 39 in about 25 minutes and to the cable car turn around in about 15 minutes. Literally everything was so conveniently close. It’s no 5 star but definitely a 3 star and we enjoyed our stay. Crazy old cage elevator if you can’t do stairs and the stairway is narrow and steep with a hairpin turn at the top. We truly enjoyed our stay……

“This house was excellent. The location was just over a city block away from the light rail and buses. We used the excellent SF transportation system to go downtown and then the Golden Gate bridge. The house was very clean and quiet. Jerry, the host, communicated well in advance of arrival and gave us a good run down of the house when we arrived. Thanks.”

“Loved it! Very cute sweet quaint home! Will 100% stay again!”

“I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. I felt safe. It was loud but not unbearable. A car horn and siren woke me up. The windows are right by the street. No real complaints. The stairs kinda shocked us. To afraid to ride the old school elevator. Would stay again my husband wouldn’t. ”

“This place was clean, well kept and the host supplied towels and amenities. ”

“Our family came to town to watch some baseball and take in the iconic sights. We found the home spotless and very comfortable with plenty of room for the 6 of us to either be together or have our space. Beds were super comfy and the neighborhood was very quiet. The home was convenient to every place we visited but far enough away for some nice down time. ”

“PROS: - Simple, clean room -- As a traveler, I spend most of my time exploring the city than being in my hotel room. This room was perfect because all I needed was a bathroom and a place to sleep. No extra frills needed. - Close to everything -- This hotel is practically in the center of the city, and is close to many bus/train lines that can take you to all of SF's attractions and neighborhoods. Many good restaurants are within walking distance. - Friendly staff -- The receptionists made……

“Prefect for my needs. Quiet and private. Easy in and out. Close to nice hiking and other activities. ”

“We had a family emergency with a relative being hospitalized at UCSF. Finding somewhere close by and could accommodate incoming family members was high on the list. We found this amazing home quickly and it was so easy to stay. The beds were cozy and helped us get some much needed stress free rest. The whole place was clean and comfortable. Check out was easy. The hosts were available to answer any questions we had during our stay. 10/10 recommend! ”
