「Excellent breakfast, great staff」

「The hotel and room were average amenities as expected. However the property and rooms were poorly cleaned which was unfortunate. 」

「This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. 」

「It was clean. The room was basic but nice. Near the airport, so expect some airplane noise, windows aren't soundproof. The street can also be loud with morning traffic. Lovely breakfast, cozy pool area, friendly staff and shuttle to the airport. 」

「Overall it was a nice stay and cleanliness wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, although not sure if the milk is up to standard as it gave one traveller a bad stomach. Tap water was also questionable. Staff are really friendly, but limited English so can be difficult to communicate. Grounds were beautiful, some work was going on during the stay. Really close to blue falls. 」

「We stayed at the Berlin on our way back to Canada. Spotless room. Really lovely, helpful staff. She booked us an airport taxi for very early the next morning. They were up when we were leaving at 5 am and gave us coffee and a take-out breakfast. We will stay there on our next visit.」

「Hotel Sanctuarium is truly a sanctuary. The property is grand and meticulously cared for. Surrounded by tropical jungles, views of the mountains and the valley below, it was by far the best place to stay for our trip to La Fortuna. And it is only a 7 minute drive to the heart of downtown. There is a restaurant on site with exquisite food. Perfect after a long day of activities so we didn’t have to venture back into town every night to find somewhere to eat. They cater to any specific dietary...

「We enjoyed our stay at Aeropuerto Hotel. Pool and garden area is lovely. We had dinner on site and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. It's always nice when breakfast buffet is included. We used the airport shuttle and our driver was excellent I would recommend this hotel and wouls stay again if back in San Hose」

「It was a great stay. Property has both shared rooms and private ones. I had a private one with private bathroom. It was simple but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the owner offers transport for a minimum fee. Will definitely stay again. 」
