“In general the hotel is very nice, quiet and close to the beach”

“Overall; loved my stay. But there were a lot of additional expenses. The tv in my room had no purpose and the wifi was not good.”

Nous avons été déçu du fait qu’il n’y avait pas possibilité de se connecter à la télévison depuis le téléphone (pas d’accès à YouTube ou autres applications ), et la télévision marchait une fois sur deux malgré intervention d’un technicien. La luminosité était assez faible le soir dans la chambre. L’espace piscine assez petit pour un aussi grand hôtel, c’est dommage. Du coup nous n’avons pas pu en profiter.”

“Situé en-dehors de la ville animée d’Albufeira, mais tout tout près d’une magnifique plage. Tout est propre, bien équipé, parfait. Stationnement gratuit juste face à l’hôtel.”

“The hotel was beautiful, contemporary in style with a fabulous rooftop infinity pool with fabulous views. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the bedroom was a decent size, with nice vanity area and full length mirror, tea/coffee making facilities and comfortable bed/pillows. Super continental breakfast. I was a solo traveler but felt very relaxed and safe staying at the hotel. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for me, especially the reception team.”

“Weather was not the best but the Heated pool was very helpful to entertain our toddler. Breakfast buffet was ok. The room at the Prestige area was clean and large. The beach is not easily accessible and we gave up on the idea of using the stairs to get down there. Charging for swimming towels was the downside. Overall, I recommend it. ”

“We had a wonderfull stay at the holiday inn Albufeira. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, theyre renovating the inside pool and spa/gym. Good breakfast. And all this for a good price! ”

“Good stay, hotel is super clean and on the whole helpful staff. Breakfast room is so nice with the sea view. In this visit a problem with our shower cubicle which was only resolved by us moving rooms the following day & hopefully it will get fixed before anyone else gets allocated that room as it a hazard. Giving extra towels to mop up isn’t the answer. Given vouchers for a drink to compensate for the inconvenience but then was told by the bar tender only one could be used per transaction.……

“The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“The housekeeping was excellent. Sheets and towels changed weekly, rooms cleaned twice daily. Beach and cluff walks were wonderful. Everything you need at the resort is there - restaurants, pools, small store for groceries.”
