"It’s an uncommon review where you almost run out of superlatives But in the case of Masana Algarve, the setting is a nice quiet neighborhood away from the somewhat congested center of town and yet within walking distance of some nice grocery shops and little bistros. It’s just a quiet away from the bustle place. Your experience starts, as in our case, when our great very nice receptionist walked us to where our room was and went over all the features very carefully in detail, but what was stunning were the views! Everywhere you looked, between the ocean and the beautiful pool and the lovely grounds They were eye fetching in every direction and while their beach is a bit fickle due to the tides, just a short walk and you find a nice long beach to walk in the mornings where you can see you what was affected by the overnight tides, but are well insulated from them. Their main restaurant, while a bit pricey, has excellent food and wonderful service but the real secret is a small restaurant that’s located just by the pool which serves throughout the day. I had an excellent omelette and my wife had an excellent snack to tide us over till dinner We found walking the local streets to get downtown to be quite easy nice wide sidewalks good directions in the view of the Tunnel beach in the areas around it were stunning But the pearl of the trip was the Masana Algarve itself, friendly staff, lovely settings and a picture perfect room.
