“The resort has plentiful facilities and close to the beach. We are in the ocean suite and the room is nicely decorated and spacious The management is not up to a five star hotel standard. Firstly the dishes in the buffet restaurant, Jardim Colonial, were not very clean, some of which with stains. Having said that , the staffs in the restaurant are helpful. Secondly the food variety was not sufficient. Thirdly , on the last day, we went for breakfasts after checking out. We were told to……

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“Unfortunately AFTER I returned home I researched reviews of properties offered by Homing and they were all terrible. I booked this property for 1 week and didn't say one night. The area the property is in felt unsafe. It's located in what was probably a nice community when it was first built but many of the apartments were abandoned and the area around the community has not been maintained. The convenience store, pool, restaurant and tennis court in the community were all abandoned and in……

“Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. “Beautiful high floor apartment, comfy bed, kitchenette, good linen, great view, spacious bathroom. Everything we needed for a short stay. We were 'upgraded' to prestige on arrival, which was fine - i dont usually like staying in hotel blocks but it was out of season and quiet so was great. I had originally booked an apartment. Pools we didn't use but would have done if it had been rainy, we were lucky with the December weather! All the staff were warm and friendly, we had lunch in the cafeteria……
