“This was a quaint little place, just a 5-minute walk across the bridge from the center of town. The rooms were decent-sized, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. My room had a terrace overlooking the garden area. The bathroom was large enough to move and shower, with plenty of hot water. The hosts were available and friendly, and the breakfast was quite sufficient, and served with a smile. ”

“Tau House is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for warm and relaxing vacation. My husband and I had an amazing time here. We spent 5 days, and we wished we could've extended our stay. This is the first vacation where we truly felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The decor of Tau House is warm and inviting. The color scheme aids in providing a relaxing environment. Our bedroom was so clean and spacious. I love that the king size bed is actually a king size bed and not two beds pushed……

“I have traveled a lot. This was one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. Jota (Jay) and his wife, Monica were the best hosts ever!! The property is amazing! Monica cooked a traditional breakfast from scratch! They helped with transportation and helped me practice my Spanish!! I highly recommend this place especially if you are a Lord of the Rings fan!! I will 100% be back here!!!”

“Very difficult to enter. Address is incorrect on ALL advertising. Front door AND back door is locked after a certain time in the evening (we were stuck inside for more than an hour until someone finally came). Won't stay there again.”

“Aside from the staff and the hotel's stunning views, I DON'T recommend this place at all. Its access is very risky because there is no paved road; it's a narrow, dangerous route with mud and slippery stones. The hotel has a beautiful design, but it is not in the best condition, as some amenities like the pool and jacuzzis sometimes malfunction. The rooms lack air conditioning, which becomes a problem after a day in the heat and pool. They only have an old, noisy fan that makes sleeping……
