Spring Break

This was such a beautiful perfect property. We had a family and friends all staying here and the space was perfect. Everyone had personal space as well as a beautiful and spacious common space for large gatherings. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. No issues and very responsive owners. We all had a wonderful time.

Amazing location and management

Our two families loved the stay in watercolor. Aside from a few dated/ worn couch cushions, the property was amazing - especially the beds given it’s a rental unit. Also, the on-site management team was outstanding! Quick to reply and even went the extra mile to retrieve and deliver a package we had shipped to the home. Definitely would recommend the property and the Dunes management team.

Lovely spot

Lovely home in a perfect location. Enjoy the patios and definitely take the kids to Camp Watercolor. Make sure to reserve beach chairs in Watercolor. The only oddity is the extremely limited supply of essentials—you’d think they’d provide sufficient TP, trash bags, and dish pods at this price point, but they distinctly state they’ve only provided “starter” amounts. Super odd for such a great listing.

Great location to everything

The property was great, beds and sofas were very comfortable, loved having a pantry. Kitchen and patios were great. Only thing I have to be honest about is that the TV’s were very small and old. Just a recommendation, but definitely not a deal breaker since we spend only evenings in the house anyway. Highly recommend this home for a rental. The management company was overly communicative and that was great!

Exceeded expectations

This property exceeded our expectations. I had told the property manager that we were celebrating three birthdays in our family (plus it was Father’s Day). When we arrived at the property they had a “Happy Birthdays!” cookie cake waiting for us. Additionally, the property manager was very responsive. Housekeeping had failed to leave dish towels but they got some out to us right away. The home is beautifully decorated, both inside and out. The photos really do not do it justice. The home faces a beautiful park and I can’t say enough about the location in general. Walk out the front door and you’re in a beautiful park. Turn left and walk 5 minutes and you’re at the beach. If you turn right and walk 3 minutes you’re at a beautiful coastal dune lake where you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. A Publix grocery store is 1 mile away and so easily accessible through the neighborhood that I allowed my teenager to ride there on a bike. Filming locations for The Truman Show are just a 10-15 min walk from this home. The kitchen was very well appointed with high end appliances and almost everything we needed (they’re never going to be your home kitchen!). We thought we were a little short on dinner plates but we located them in the carriage house at the end of our stay. The home is very spacious and we loved sitting outside on the many deck areas - four to be exact. We didn’t use the ping pong table but thought it would be nice to have a pull down screen or something to help keep balls from bouncing off the deck. You have to walk through the MBR to get to the ping pong table, btw. Note that the 5th bedroom is in the carriage house and while this is perfect for teens to have their own space (especially crabby ones!), the beds are not suitable for adults and you would not want to leave young children alone in it. At our last vacation at Blue Mountain Beach, we were all plagued with yellow fly bites and subsequent itching (evil things!). This year, we came prepared to do battle. We were surprised that we encountered zero flying insects during our stay in WaterColor. No mosquitoes, no flies, no evil yellow flies. Perhaps they treat for them. Whatever the reason, it was so nice to not have to swat at insects all week. If you’re in the fence about booking this property, do not hesitate! It’s beautiful, it’s spacious, and your family will love it!

Great Location

We were very pleased with all aspects of this home. Our favorite part has to be all of the outdoor seating areas for enjoying time together. Would definitely recommend this property and Dune.

A great stay at Watercolor

This is a great property. My family comes here every year and we love it! The property is awesome with beachside pool, bar and restaurant. The house we rented was in excellent shape and very clean.
