Great location!!

The property is clean, welcoming, accommodating, and peaceful. We loved the access to the beach and Seaside without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Having the bikes and golf cart was essential and rounded out the stay appropriately. Would stay here again!

Seniors in seaside

This property was perfect for our group of 11. We brought our daughters to seaside for their senior trip after graduation. It was the perfect combination of fun and relaxation. The property is close to just about everything….grocery store, beach and shopping. The home is gorgeous and looks just like the photos. The management company was wonderful and very responsive. Thank you so much for making our trip perfect!

Rhoades less traveled is a dream...

The property was perfect for our large famiy. We loved the house and the location. Taking the golf cart to the beach was a family favorite. The children enjoyed riding bikes around the neighborhood as well. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and welcoming. We loved it and we will be back someday! Cheers, from Kentucky!

Fantastic home for a large family in a nice community

we loved the home...from check-in until we left the home....everything was perfect. the bikes and golf cart were great and the home itself was large enough to accommodate our party of 10. The kids loved the bunk beds. the home was immaculate and well appointed.

Spacious home for our big family with an amazing location.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house, which offered plenty of space for our large family. The neighborhood was a true gem—secluded, quiet, and inviting. Our favorite spot was the patio, where we could relax and extend our living area outdoors. We also enjoyed playing pickleball, which added to the fun. One delightful surprise was the outdoor shower with hot water—it was the perfect way to rinse off after a day at the beach! The convenient beach access directly across from the neighborhood entrance was another highlight. It was easy to get to, and since there’s no public parking, the beach was wonderfully uncrowded. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that we can’t wait to repeat!

We had a wonderful stay at this home close to the beach on 30A with our kids (ages 2–8). The location was fantastic — just a short distance to the sand and right next to the community pool, which was perfect for a family getaway. Like some other reviews mentioned, there was a faint odor in the house, but it was minor and didn’t affect our stay. The house was comfortable, spacious, and worked well for our family.

Wonderful vacation home in a great quiet neighborhood close to everything. The management company went above and beyond with helpThe only small item I would recommend for improvement is to consider upgrading the living room furniture. It is a bit aged.

Spring Break Trip

We stayed here for Spring Break and the property was great! Location was wonderful. It was so nice to have the pool right next door and everything was close by to the house. Only 2 notes would be make sure you bring beach towels and any toys you want for the beach. The golf cart was a bit outdated and did not lock properly and did not seem to go above 22 mph. Otherwise everything was great and the host gave amazing information so we knew what we needed to bring w us for our stay.

Perfect for us

The perfect neighborhood with the perfect Beach access. No public parking at this beach access means less people at this public beach location. The golf cart was great because we just zoomed through the pretty neighborhood and parked it legally almost at the end of the street. The additional bikes were great as well because we had 7 people. The house is adjacent to the pool..perfect placement. Not loud at all. I felt the house was far better than the pictures. Very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with a blender, shrimp boil pot, stainless steel pans. We have family members with allergies so we do appreciate when we can find an animal free rental. (We love animals, sadly allergies though.) The only downsides were that there are no beach chairs at this rental and no beach towels. We did read that before and brought our own towels. We flew here so that was cumbersome. We went to Sam's and bought 7 nice beach chairs. That was cheaper than beach chair rental companies. And sold them, so we paid 50.00 for all 7 chairs total. The kitchen had plenty of room for us all to move around easily. I will definitely book this house again in the future without hesitation. Someone earlier mentioned pillows lacking-that's been remedied-we had no complaints. The golf cart speed was completely fine to us. The living room furniture needs a refresh bc it sags but that's not a deal breaker at all. Very nice rental, thank you for sharing with our family. We were sad to leave!

Great House for Big Group

This was a great house for our big group. Aside from being well designed and beautiful, it was incredibly functional. The kids loved the fun bunkbeds and being right next door to the pool. The dining room table was big enough for the nine of us to eat together and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner. The walk to the beach was a little far for the youngest of our crew, so we utilized the beach access just down the road that had parking (Also a good tip if you have to haul a lot of stuff and has a ramp to the beach if you need a handicap entrance). The outdoor shower was essential after long days at the beach. The apartment over the garage was very much appreciated by those in the group looking for a little peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

we had our family reunion at Rhodes Less Traveled and had a great time! Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, very comfortable and easy to "live" in for a week. nicely decorated and a great floor plan for our family of 12. We loved having the carriage house for Grandparents. We had bikes and a 6 passenger golf cart to shuttle to the beach each day. Easy to get around and found parking at the Santa Clara beach access worked fine. (just get there early). We felt the only downside was that the pillows were not comfy....entire family mentioned they had difficulty with such flat pillows. Maybe replacements are in order? overall, the house was nice and clean and well furnished and met our needs. thanks for allowing us to enjoy your property! Also, we were very impressed with the management team....they did a great job with taking care of questions and concerns & we appreciate that they contacted us early after departure about our items we left behind. It was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Sweet memories

The property looks just like the pictures - open, clean, and beautiful! If staying with little ones, note that the bunk room is right outside the master bedroom with the laundry room at the other end of the bunk room. We LOVED the sunroom, have a heated outdoor shower, and a carriage house for grandparents! Tip: there are games in the entry room console, we found that the last day when it was raining! We loved the seclusion and peaceful walk to the beach. When we opted to drive to the beach it took about five minutes to get there and gave us bathroom access as well. Wonderful home to make sweet memories with loved ones in!

Great house and location!

We stayed at this property for Spring break. The house is beautiful and is conveniently located next to the neighborhood pool. The beach, restaurants and the center of Seaside is a short bike ride away. We would absolutely stay here again!
