“The hotel is amazing. The staff are wonderful; they truly aim to please and help their guests. They helped us in every single regard. They upgraded our room to a beautiful suite. The breakfast is al a carte and buffet which was wonderful. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out.”

“We stayed at Hotel Casona del Colegio from July 9–14 and overall had a wonderful stay. This charming boutique hotel is beautifully decorated with lots of character. Our room with a private balcony and hot tub was spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect—within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, bars, and many attractions. Despite being in the heart of Cartagena, we slept very well. A few issues kept this from being a 5-star stay. I noticed two small roaches in our room……

We were able to walk to so many incredible restaurants, attractions, and neighborhoods, making it easy to explore Cartagena on foot. One thing that really stood out was the front door staff. They were always friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and eager to help with recommendations, transportation, or anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right……

“The first person I saw and the last one to help me was Nelkins Salgado. He is amazing, friendly and helped my mother and I to get a taxi to the airport. Also, Luz the girl at the breakfast every morning was a sweetheart. The hotel is very convenient located. Can be a little noisy at night, because the people party outside. Also, the guests can be very noisy when they return late night to the hotel intoxicated. Beside that, everything was good. Also, my room was cleaned daily. Thanks”
