「We were well received with staff helping with our bags immediately. Note, if you do want your luggage right away, don't use their luggage service as it is not immediate. Room was large and comfortable. We had an oceanview room with balcony. For the smokers, balcony has ashtrays! Bathroom was large with separate toilet door. 「Our flight was cancelled so we needed a reasonable hotel near the airport. This hotel was great it was reasonably priced and breakfast was included. Our flight was before breakfast so they packed us breakfast boxes which was nice. We had amazing rooms out our windows. The bathroom was large and clean. Definitely a great stay for our purpose.」

「When i arrived, cleaning wasn't done. Staff explained that the cleaning service didn't advise them and had issue with number of check in this day. I came back 1h30 after and it was done. Staff was quick and helpfull , communication was done by phone as there is not reception ( appart) I stayed 1 day and i found Bed Bugs in the beds !!! I was on the apt 1st floor. Be very carefull !!! 「A lovely hotel in the city centre. I had a refurbished room which was very comfortable with modern decor and feel. Breakfast was plentiful but could have been varied a bit from day to day. I enjoyed using the pool but the sun umbrellas were not in use as I was told they had previously blown over in the wind. I couldn’t help but notice that other places in Funchal (bars etc) had similar umbrellas and used well designed sand bags to ensure they didn’t tip over. Maybe a something the hotel can look...
