Weekend getaway

We loved staying here! Loved seeing the sunrise from our balcony and the deck , then seeing the sunset with a short walk across the street to the beach! Also was great being able to walk to restaurants.

Loved our stay at Longboat Key

We enjoyed our stay. Spacious n clean. We loved the pool n hot tub. The beach was so perfect. Lounge chairs n umbrellas provided by the resort. Quiet n easy check in.

Christmas Getaway

We love LBK and we spent a week on the key with our family. The Beach Castle was perfect. We had access to both the bay and the beach. The property was perfect for our family of four.

Wedding Weekend Stay

Wonderful stay for our sons wedding ~ nicely appointed unit; it had everything we needed! Great staff in the office. About a 10 minute drive from St Armand’s Key & Lido Beach (absolutely loved both) and about 20 minutes to Siesta Key (most beautifully sanded beach I’ve ever stepped on ❤️). Truly enjoyed our stay!

Beach Castle

Nice, unassuming property with all basic amenities. Beach is a short walk, has plenty of chairs/umbrellas and well maintained. Good location on the island halfway between two popular night spots, St. Armands and Bridge Street.

Very nice stay

The condo is nicely furnished and very clean. I would prefer a better lightbulb in the main room lamp as I had trouble reading at night. We enjoyed the warm pool and hot tub. Beach access across the street was very easy. Would stay here again.

Lovely weekend stay

Everything was as listed in the description and shown in pictures. The condo had a great layout for us, all we needed for our stay and a short walk to the ocean or intracoastal waterway. Loved ther fully opening slider out to these screened patio! Definitely would consider starting hete again!

Perfect except for the beds and pillows

I have enjoyed staying at the beach castle numerous times. This particular unit needs a few updates particularly to the beds. The mattresses feel like they’re from the 1980s and the pillows were so large and hard that I filled the pillowcase with my socks and underwear and used that instead so I could sleep. If you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, the mattress creeks in a way I haven’t heard since my childhood. M with the exception of the beds, it’s a lovely place and I would highly recommend it. Maybe bring your own pillow if you come.

Beach Castle on Longboat Key

The property was immaculate upon arrival and furnishings were in very good condition and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch that is nestled up against palm trees and other tropical vegetation that rustle in the gulf breeze. It was so tranquil and relaxing. The beautiful gulf beach is a short walk. The pool was heated, nice. The manager was very pleasant. We checked in and checked out after hours, and all went smoothly. We ate out for every meal, so I can’t comment about how well the kitchen was stocked. I wouldn’t call this a luxurious or bougie place, but that’s what we loved about it. It has a very laid-back, Florida key vibe. The pictures posted are accurate.We were very comfortable here, and would stay again!

Pleasant several days spent in Longboat Key. Pro: Walk across the street to the beach. Great hot tub. Relaxing atmosphere. Con: Wish issue with the DVD player had been resolved. Never did get a working player in the unit. Our unit #22 has loud air conditioner. Woke up 3 out of 4 guests staying in the unit. Maybe not a problem if you are a heavy sleeper. Suggestions: Add lawn chairs on grassy area on the Sarasota Bay side of the property. It has a beautiful view and not utilized . Would recommend placemats in out unit

Longboat Key- Beach Castle

Reviewer Comments: Arrived on Fri after office closed but very easy to get rental package with keys. Unit nice and orderly. Some lights and AC were on to make it inviting. Very quiet in the unit. Walk across the road to beach is short but road is busy. Unit has upgraded appliances and plenty of kitchenware. Beds comfortable. Cleaning could be a tad better and need to change shower liner in main bathroom- mold noted. AC old and noisy but works for now. Would have been nice not to have someone washing walkways in building on a Saturday morning- water does spray in to the unit. Also would have been nice to get appropriate information as to where to park extra vehicles. We had 3 cars at any one time and it is a bit silly to have to run back and forth quite a distance to get someone's car. The unit was for 6 people so more than 1 car is expected.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in the well equipped apartment. The description was accurate, in fact better than we expected. The unit was very clean on arrival, however the balcony was very dirty and we had to clear the floor ourselves. We enjoyed several nearby restaurants. The manager was hopeless. There was a mandatory evacuation during our stay due to a hurricane. No one from RVA informed us that we had to leave, even though the front desk was managed. We are from the UK so not accustomed to what has to happen in these cases. We only found out about it by asking a waitress in a restaurant. I was, and continue to be, quite shocked at RVA's complacency. The management need to review their policies.

A wonderful little place
