Clean house. Any small issues we had (internet didn’t work) they were quick to address. There was construction going on next door and they accidentally cut the internet line! Contacted management and they got it fixed right away. Highly recommend it’s like 1 minute walk to the beach from here! Great location would recommend to anyone!

Cottage is excellent as for clean, amenities provided, distance from beach. However there was no mention of the construction taking place just outside of the unit. Crew starts beating and banging by 7:30 a.m. sounds like they're physically inside of thw cottage. Backup alarm on skid steer went nonstop for days. When I mentioned the noise mid-week was told construction is all over the island which is not the case...it is here and there on the island but definitely not all over the island. Would like to have been told about construction right next to the cottage prior to booking. Be prepared to be woke up early every day and hear this noise all day long if you stay here!

Construction right next to cottage. They start work 7:30 a.m. and stop banging and pounding around 5:00-5:30p.m. each day.

Perfect for two people! Great location, everything thing we needed they had. It was a great week relaxing on the beach and riding our bikes around town. Anna Maria Island was wonderful!

We had a great stay. Check in process was easy, we were even able to check in early. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Even had left over beach chairs in the garage for use! Pool was beautiful. Quick walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Beach Vacation

My husband and I have been coming to AMI for over 25 years staying in a variety of places on the island. This was our first time so far on the North end of the AMI and it was perfect in the Starfish beach cottage--We have already booked for next year. The cottage was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Proximity to the beautiful beach was perfect enough that we could walk back and forth throughout the day as needed. The grounds were clean, beachy and comfortable. It is close to Pine Ave with restaurants, shopping, trolley stops and activities.

Seahorse Cottage was perfect and fit all our needs. Close to the beach, great pool, and the accommodations were very nice. We both would have preferred a firmer mattress on the bed but that would not stop us from visiting again. Idyllic Holiday Properties was very easy to deal with and Liane had excellent communication skills in planning for our trip. Debbie, the Property Manager in Anna Maria, was also very quick to respond to texts while we were there. All around, a great experience and a beautiful island. We will be back!

The location was perfect!

When this one says “close to the beach” - they mean it! This little spot is perfect for an Anna Maria getaway and is literally steps from the Beach access off Spruce Ave. The local property manager was extremely responsive to questions and she even helped us retrieve some clothing mistakenly picked up by the cleaning crew. Highly recommended!

Quaint cottage, good location, could use a few updates

On the plus side, Seahorse Cottage is in a great location just steps from the beach. The size is about right for two. Arranging the visit and getting the keys was stress-free. On the "This could use improvement IMO" department, the couch is not in great shape. The cushions sag making sitting uncomfortable. The TV is too small for the room making viewing a challenge. Some new beach chairs are needed. We've been coming to AMI for 20 years. It is a pretty island with beautiful beaches. However, the island is losing its quaint cottages and old-Florida charm to large homes and excessive amounts of traffic.

We had an awesome stay at AMI… Love this place … was secluded and a very short trip to the beach for awesome sunsets … we spent most of the days by the pool and evenings on the beach … walkable to some places and short drives to awesome restaurants .. Would highly recommend

Very pleasant

Nice Cottage but 3 issues. No iron available. TV was the smallest I have ever encountered at a rental property or hotel room. Front and side doors were mostly glass with a sheer fabric as a curtain. Anyone walking by could see right in. I had to drape towels over the door for privacy. Everything else was great.

beautiful beach

Really nice time, super easy walk to the beach. Walkable to a few stores, very laid back neighborhood. Not the place to go if you are looking for night life. it was perfect for us and our 5 year old. The cottage was clean and comfortable. definitely not luxurious, with a little bit of updating on appliances, sofa, and bed, cottage could be super cute. Don't want to sound like I'm downgrading the cottage because I don't mean to. We got what we expected and had a wonderful time.

Pleasant Holiday

The cottage was quaint. Old Florida style that we love. Spacious enough for 2. Clean and airy. Excellent location. 2 minute walk to beautiful Anna Maria beach. Walking distance to restaurants, parks and Anna Maria and Rod-n-Reel piers. We will be back!

Seahorse cottage AMI

The cottage is cute and very close to the beach. Walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Easy check in and out. The attached cottage, shell I believe, connecting door can be locked but you can hear neighbors is they are loud (we were lucky to only hear them on our last night). Heated pool was very nice.

Great stay!
