"Properly is obviously older and needs to be refreshed. It’s not dirty, but it definitely needs to be updated. The room I was given has a smell of long ago smoking. It smells like the carpets or the drapes need to be replaced. The hotel’s neighborhood has seen better days. A hotel shuttle driver warned me against walking to a nearby restaurant, telling me that there is often a police presence in the area addressing ladies of the evening plying their wares, and that some female guests had been robbed on the street recently. I didn’t feel like I was ever in danger, but I’m a single guy who stands 6’3” and kind of oblivious. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. "
"This place is amazing ! We were stranded in Chicago due to terrible storms and all flights headed to the east coast were canceled . The manager here , credited the next night , when we were finally able to arrive, with our reservation from the previous night, having a complete understanding of the situation.They were so kind and hospitable to us , especially after an entire night of booking, canceling and rebooking (3 times!!) and then not having our luggage arrive. I appreciate them doing this instead of charging us for a new reservation . Very kind indeed and shows excellent and gracious public relations. "I love everything about the Hampton Inn. We were able to leave our car there while we flew for a small fee. Mu car was safe and much appreciated. We took the shuttle to and from the airport. Our drivers were so nice. The beds, room, shower were awesome. We only grabbed a muffin and coffee so i cant rate breakfast. Parking is easy. Everything is wonderful. Plenty of usb outlets. Big tv. Fridge in room. Dont have to ask for xtra towels and washcloths for 2. Plenty and well stocked. U wont b disappointed especially if u r flying. Thank u for making our stay so great and easy. Shuttle comes every 30 mins 24 hours. The hotel gives u a number to call when u arrive and they tell u where to pick up. When u get off plane and make your way out, make sure u go to hotel shuttles. I believe it is spot 2. Just follow signs.
