"Honestly from the moment we walked in the door and were greeted till our breakfast and check out. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Our check attendant was so kind (give her a raise!!!she was so efficient and wonderful) and gave us 3 bottles of water and had just made fresh coffee. After getting our info room and settled we had some of that coffee and it was one of the best cups of coffee I ever had. The room was spotless, the generous 4 pillows on each bed were so soft !!! and both the pillows and the bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was the cleanest shower I have ever used in a hotel in my 52 years of traveling (other than my Disney cruise) and that’s pretty outstanding. The shower gel and wash were great and towels up to par. The breakfast included so much variety. We chose warm oatmeal with brown sugar, & cranberries. Scrambled egg, sausage and potatoes. All delish! Fresh juices. And more great coffee. Great selection. We will be staying here again for sure when traveling through Charlotte. Thank you so much for a great stay. It’s hard to find a hotel that checks all the boxes these days!!! My only one request if I had to say one would be I disliked the sliding door on the bathroom. Was a bit heavy and loud. 😊👍👍👍👍👍"

"For my birthday this year, I wanted a little peace; to get away for a little and unplug… And I did just that at Long Cove! Highly recommend coming to them if you want a place to relax and be comfortable. This place is a hidden gem! I forgot I was in Charlotte. The first morning there, we noticed the shower wasn’t working. We found out the pipes froze in our cabin (expected with the cold weather we had lately) but the staff at Long Cove immediately addressed the issue and accommodated us. We ended up being move to an even bigger cabin right next door with so much space. We stayed in cabin 7 & the view of the lake from the cabin was breathtaking; especially in the mornings when the sun is rising! The area is quiet and cabins were clean. Overall, Long Cove really is just a peaceful and comfortable place to stay; a great place for families, couples, or even solo trips if you need a break from reality. I really enjoyed my birthday getaway at Long Cove and I cannot wait to come back in the spring/ summer. "
