「Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back. 」

「Spacious yet cozy with a cabin feel inside. Great location with beautiful hiking trails (caution: very challenging even though labeled moderate). Great for older kids but staircases lack railings so would be unsafe for younger kids. Beautiful house with lovely garden and pool. Good communication with host.」

「A lovely place to stay, we had a long break there, it’s very quiet, but close enough to the river beaches, beaches, Tomar and other attractions for lovely days out. The hosts are outstanding, I’ve never met such amazing hosts. They bought us bags of the most fabulous and delicious tomatoes and the fluffiest cake ever. Thank you for a beautiful break we will always remember. 」

「Nous avons trouvé ce mini studio très bien agencé, propre, lumineux, parfaitement climatisé et avec une bonne literie. Il est bien situé à deux pas de la place de la cathédrale. Si je devais émettre un bémol, ce serait des explications claires pour parvenir jusqu'au logement, car Coimbra est en travaux un peu partout et le GPS était complètement désorienté. Cela simplifiedait grandement l'arrivée des voyageurs.」

There was a hot tub in room that was a bit loud while heating up but a funky thing to do while you watched tv, the room is cut into the rock and called the cave. 「Absolutely beautiful property, built over 30 years, with love put into every single detail by the owners and improved by the hospitality of the owners.We stayed with 7 of us, and it was still too big for us! The kids 3-9 loved it, and the property is very child safe (Fireplace blocked off, pool secured with gates, the entire property is walled off with electric gates)From the beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, to the locally produced port and the amazing Jams provided by the owners...

「This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. 」
