“Veronica was at the front desk when we checked in. She is exactly the type of person you want to greet customers! She was genuine, had a great smile, and was warm and caring. Another employee was Lacy (I think that was her name). She was an older woman who was working the breakfast. She was so helpful, and always smiling. We might not stay at this hotel again since this was off our beaten path, but since we take a lot of road trips and I definitely book according to reviews. Major points for me……

“This is an old boarding house with great history. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. A code is given to get into the front door and for your assigned room. We did have problems getting into our room but once i figured out who to call, she took care of it quick. Very close to Back Woods . ”

“A nice, well-maintained historic hotel. The hotel staff was away from the front desk a lot, and the restaurant staff was a bit unorganized with our reservation. “Great stop on a long drive, just off I95 so very convenient. Plenty of well lit parking which was great because we arrived quite late. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and quick to get us checked in (we were exhausted). Very clean, other guests were hanging out in the lobby and it was a very nice atmosphere.
