"Location was perfect for my friends and I for our quick day trip to Virginia. It was close enough to popular mountain trails so we were able to get a hike in. Very spacious for about 4 people to sleep comfortably, just keep in mind there is a spiral staircase to the downstairs area that is a little tight for big bags but it’s no deal breaker as there is another entrance. The office is only manned during daytime hours so if you are a late arrival you need to make arraignments. The room itself is excellent. "Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy!
