“Spa cottage was brilliant, it was clean, had everything you needed, very well furnished and its in a great location opposite the lovely village shop and right by the pub. Good walks nearby and everyone very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Braithwaite is such a lovely village.”

“Lovely little base for exploring everything the Lakes has to offer. Apartment lovely and clean, and ideally located with several shops and eateries nearby. Parking was fine for us with it being a quieter time of year (street parking) but I would imagine this would be a bit trickier in the busier months. “Our party comprised 4 adults and a small dog. The cottage has mountain views from every window. It is spacious and clean. Our only neighbours were sheep! It is an easy walk into Keswick, on a good footpath. We loved our stay and hope to come again. ”

“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……
