“This place is a hidden gem. Although there was some issues with communication due to the language barrier they were minor. The place was clean, quiet, the staff was very helpful and professional. It’s close to the airport, spacious, well decorated, and the breakfast was a delicious unexpected treat. The free airport shuttle was appreciated as well. I was very happy with Rowan and his staff. They made my stay here very nice and I will definitely come back if I need a place near the airport.”

“This is an excellent hotel when in transit or having early flight out of Colombo. We arrived into Colombo around midnight and our transfer driver was waiting to take us to vila diva as we had arranged which was included in the rate for our stay. The next morning we were transported very promptly back to the airport for a small fee. Both the room and transport car were exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend vila diva transit hotel for quality, service, location and friendliness”

“For the price I paid, I had lower expectation. It turned out to be a great hospitality. Rooms were cozy and spacious bathroom. They even provided complimentary breakfast, that was delicious so is the tea. The owner was humble and he had a great customer obsession. ”

“I chose this hotel because it is close to the airport and after a long exhausting flight I knew I would want a nice cozy bed. Accosted by taxi drivers AR the airport I knew I wanted a less expensive tuk tuk. One guy told me I have a tuk tuk let's go, well he lied it was a taxi. He told me he would give a food price. Finding the hotel is tricky from hotels.com so he called the hotel and knew where to go. It is also known as Ceylon villa. I paid 700 rps, it should be around 3-400 at most but I was……

"Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean.
Our room was nice and spacious and clean.
Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around.
Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg.
Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us).
The breakfast and dinner buffet had great food, and the performer at the dinner buffet also played our song requests!
Great place overall, would definitely recommend. "
